Voron Trident 300 – Panda Breath Vertical Mount

A vertical mount for the BIQU Panda Breath, braced at the top by an arm that screws into the left idler support. The filter mesh cover stays accessible, so it can still be removed with the mount in place. The arm is adapted from the Idler_Support_Top_Left_300 part of JackJack3231 's aux fan mount. As a bonus, it matches my aux fan's aesthetic ;) Compatibility Tested on a Voron Trident 300. JackJack3231's Voron Trident Auxiliary Fan also has arms for the 250 and 350, so those sizes should work with the matching arm, but neither is tested. Hardware Qty Part Use 2 M5×8 SHCS Foot to frame 2 M5 T-nut Foot to frame 1 M5×14 SHCS Arm 3 M3 heat-set insert (M3×5×4) Top hat 3 M3×10 SHCS Arm to top hat 4 M3×? SHCS (optional) Extra centre fixing for the foot The four M3 screws in the foot are optional. They make it rock solid but a pain to remove, and I don't use them myself. Printed parts 1× Top hat 1× Foot 1× Arm Print settings Printed in ABS or ASA - Don't use PLA or PETG. I used the standard Voron settings: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height 4 walls 5 top and bottom layers 40 % gyroid infill Installation Install the three heat-set inserts in the top hat as shown. Remove the two screws on top of the Panda Breath (2 mm hex) and take off the small bracket. These screws can't be reused. It should look like this: Remove the left idler screw (4 mm hex). It's too short to reuse; the M5×14 SHCS replaces it. Pre-assemble everything off the printer. This makes installation easier. Press the top hat onto the Panda Breath. Note: The top hat is a very tight fit, so a bit of force might be needed. Alternatively, scale the model up slightly. Screw the arm into the top hat with the M3×10 screws (yellow arrows). Optional: the two grey holes let you screw the top hat directly into the Panda Breath. I skip them, as the tight fit is sturdy enough. Place the Panda Breath on the foot. Put the two M5 T-nuts loosely on the foot screws. Tilt the assembly into place. Insert the M5×14 screw through the arm into the idler. Tighten the two M5 screws on the foot.
