About this model

Digital 3D printable Exhaust Merge Collector Pipe Cutting Template designed specifically for Ø60.0 mm / approximately 2.36 in round tubing. This model is part of the Europe Metric OD series and is intended for preparing equal-diameter exhaust runners before assembling multi-tube merge collectors, header collectors and custom exhaust manifold collector sections. TUBE OUTSIDE DIAMETER: Ø60.0 mm / approximately 2.36 in 60.0 mm = approximately 2.362 in. The exact reference dimension for this model is Ø60.0 mm outside diameter. The imperial value is included as an approximate reference for international users. SUPPORTED COLLECTOR CONFIGURATIONS: - 2 into 1 / 2-1 - 3 into 1 / 3-1 - 4 into 1 / 4-1 - 5 into 1 / 5-1 - 6 into 1 / 6-1 - 8 into 1 / 8-1 The printed template slides directly onto Ø60.0 mm tubing and provides a reusable physical guide for marking the cutting geometry required before assembling several equal-diameter runners into a merge collector. Instead of calculating and laying out each collector cut manually, the same printed fabrication tool can be reused to prepare multiple tubes with consistent geometry. This makes the template useful for professional exhaust fabricators, custom header builders, turbo manifold fabricators, motorsport workshops and individual automotive fabrication projects. HOW TO USE: 1. Measure the actual outside diameter of the tubing and confirm Ø60.0 mm. 2. Slide the printed template onto the runner tube. 3. Select the required collector configuration. 4. Position and orient the template correctly. 5. Trace the required cutting geometry with a marker. 6. Remove the plastic template before cutting. 7. Cut the tube using an angle grinder, bandsaw, hacksaw or another suitable metal-cutting tool. 8. Deburr and finish the cut surfaces. 9. Repeat the process for all required runners. 10. Rotate and arrange the prepared tubes into the required collector configuration. 11. Check the mating surfaces. 12. Tack weld the collector assembly. 13. Verify symmetry, runner alignment and outlet geometry. 14. Complete the final welding only after confirming the full collector shape. SUITABLE FOR: - Exhaust merge collectors - Header collectors - Custom exhaust manifolds - Naturally aspirated headers - Turbo manifolds - Motorsport exhaust fabrication - Racing headers - Stainless steel manifolds - Mild steel manifolds - Custom automotive fabrication - Performance exhaust systems - Prototype exhaust systems - TIG welding - MIG welding - General tube fabrication Ø60.0 mm tubing is a common metric size for larger exhaust runners, merge collectors, custom headers and performance exhaust fabrication. This template is especially useful when several equal-size Ø60.0 mm tubes need to converge into a single collector outlet. EUROPE METRIC OD SERIES This version is designed specifically for: Ø60.0 mm actual outside diameter tubing. The imperial value is included only as an approximate international reference. IMPORTANT SIZE NOTE: Ø60.0 mm is a separate size from nearby tube standards including: - Ø60.3 mm Europe Metric / EN-DN50 - Ø60.325 mm / exact 2-3/8 in Inch OD - Ø60.33 mm NPS 2 pipe - Ø60.5 mm JIS 50A pipe These dimensions are close but belong to different tube standards and are kept as separate template versions. Always select the STL corresponding to the actual outside diameter and intended tube standard. DIGITAL PRODUCT ONLY. This listing contains a digital STL file for 3D printing. No physical template, metal tubing, finished collector, exhaust manifold, welding equipment or cutting tools are included. IMPORTANT: Always measure the actual outside diameter of your tubing before printing. Tube manufacturing tolerances, welded seams, coatings, filament shrinkage and 3D printer dimensional calibration can affect template fit. The printed part is a MARKING AND FABRICATION GUIDE only. Remove the plastic template before cutting, grinding or welding. Always test-fit the prepared runners and verify the complete merge collector geometry before final welding.
