About this model
## What it is A funnel that screws onto the bottle neck: GPI 58-400 (58 mm screw-neck bottles: cosmetics, chemicals, spices). It sits firmly on the neck and cannot slip off, so both hands stay free. A large funnel makes a small or empty bottle top-heavy - support the bottle then. 12 funnels with 100, 160, 225 and 300 mm mouths, each in three thread clearances: 0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm (file suffix S04 / S06 / S08; 1 / 2 / 3 notches on the test ring). ## Dimensions (measured on the CAD solid) 12 models. Height 99.6-272.8 mm, largest width 136.7-344.5 mm, weight 83.4-518.8 g of PETG if printed solid (an upper bound; with 3 perimeters the slicer prints the thin walls solid anyway). Space needed on the bed (as printed): up to 323.5 x 323.5 x 272.8 mm. The largest width includes the hanging tab; as printed it lies on the bed diagonal. 3 of the 12 models exceed 256 x 256 x 250 mm - check your printer's build volume first. The dimension sheet in the download and in the second image lists every size. ## Why this one A screwed-on funnel seals the neck - without venting it would glug and overflow. Here a separate air channel runs up the neck next to the outlet and exits at the rim. When the level in the bottle reaches the lower end of this channel, no more air can escape and the flow stops by itself: a built-in fill stop. The free test ring set tells you which fit your printer needs. ## Printing Print as saved - mouth down, the rim sits on the bed. No supports, 0.2 mm layers, at least 3 perimeters. Apart from the thread flanks nothing is flatter than 45 degrees - and those print upright, as on any thread. Which plastic? Water: PETG, ASA or PP; PLA only for occasional use. Alcohol, IPA: PP or PA; PETG and ASA only briefly, rinse afterwards. Acetone, MEK: PP or PA - the only common filaments that withstand acetone; PLA, PETG, ASA and PVDF are attacked. Acid (battery, dilute): PP, PVDF or ASA; never PA. The last gallery image rates 6 filaments against 16 liquids and dry goods (manufacturer data, short contact, rinse afterwards). ## In the download STL, 3MF and STEP for every model, plus the dimension sheet as PDF and a README. The file name states the variant, the README lists each one with its dimensions. ## Tell me what you need **Every funnel here is generated from parametric code.** Another mouth, outlet, stem length, thread or bottle neck is a parameter for me, not a new design. Message me on Cults and you will usually have your variant within 2-5 days. If something does not fit, tell me and I will correct it for everyone - buyers get the new file automatically. **Liability.** These funnels are workshop and household accessories, not parts for safety-critical use. Chemical resistance ratings are based on manufacturer data for solid material; a printed part with layer lines can be more sensitive - test your print with the liquid before relying on it, and transfer fuels only outdoors.
