A honeycomb-themed climbing wall for cats. A hexagonal hive cave, three hexagon step shelves and a short slat bridge mount on the wall to make a staircase up to the cave. **What is in the kit (26 parts)** - Hive cave, 240 mm across and 240 mm deep: 6 side panels, 6 corner rails, a front panel and a back panel - A snap-in entrance rim ring (152 mm opening, rounded edge) - Paw-print windows in the two upper panels and honeycomb-embossed outer faces - A gusseted wall bracket that carries the hive floor - 3 hexagon step shelves, 220 mm across, each with a raised safety lip, honeycomb anti-slip ribs and two deep gussets with hexagon windows - A bridge: 2 end boards whose tongues drop into slots in the shelf tops, plus 5 slats **How it goes together** - The side panels slide into the corner rails and key into the front and back panels with tabs - The shelves, hive back and hive bracket hang on M5 keyholes, then a countersunk locking screw stops them lifting off - The bridge slats thread onto two cords between the end boards (cord not printed) **You also need** - 10 x M5 pan or round head screws for the keyholes and 5 x M5 countersunk screws for the locking holes - Wall anchors that suit your wall (into studs or masonry where possible) - About 2 x 40 cm of 4 mm cord for the bridge **Colours** - The 3MF has a honey and amber hive with white rails and rim, teal and white shelves, teal brackets and honey slats **Safety** - Designed with thick ribs and generous gussets for cats up to about 6 kg, but it has not been load-tested: fix it into solid wall with proper anchors and check every part before your cat uses it - Holes and gaps are kept under 5 mm or over 25 mm so paws cannot get stuck - Check the screws and the parts regularly and replace anything cracked **Slicer-checked print settings** Every part was sliced in PrusaSlicer 2.9.6 (0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 3 walls, 15% infill) and checked for floating parts, loose extrusions and unsupported overhangs: - No supports needed: Bridge End Left, Bridge End Right, Bridge Slat 1, Bridge Slat 2, Bridge Slat 3, Bridge Slat 4, Bridge Slat 5, Hive Entrance Rim, Hive Front, Hive Panel Floor, Hive Panel Lower Left, Hive Panel Lower Right, Hive Panel Top, Hive Panel Upper Left, Hive Panel Upper Right - Add a 5-10 mm brim: Hive Rail 1, Hive Rail 2, Hive Rail 3, Hive Rail 4, Hive Rail 5, Hive Rail 6 - Turn on supports (organic/tree or snug supports, with a brim): Hive Back, Hive Bracket, Step Shelf 1, Step Shelf 2, Step Shelf 3 - Total filament for one of each part: about 2126 g PETG Note: original design built from scratch in Blender; designed in CAD and slice-checked part by part in PrusaSlicer; this exact version has not been test-printed yet.
