À propos de ce modèle
Highly detailed upgrade set for the engine bay of the 1/24 scale Nissan R32 Skyline GT-R NISMO/non-NISMO kit from Tamiya. Contains completely new and replacement parts for the following: - firewall with stamped metal details, clutch master cylinder, and wiper motor - strut tower caps to add in stamped metal details, throttle cable guide, strut top details, and wiring looms/connectors - strut brace to fit new strut towers - intake manifold - throttle bodies - brake booster and master cylinder - ABS pump - brake lines between MC and ABS pump - battery and fuse box with wiring and overflow bottle - intercooler - radiator and AC radiator with fan - serpentine belt with AC pulley - fan with clutch details - turbos with the proper size and waste gate details - charge pipe with text detail - airbox with clasp details - cam belt cover with detailed valve timing and hoses - bonnet/hood bracing - scuttle tray/cowl panel with open or closed option (built in fixed hinge for open option) and detailed mesh Given the numerous additional parts, assembly can be fiddly so please bear that in mind and consider printing duplicates of small, delicate parts like the brake lines etc... and definitely dry fit before gluing. General assembly info: - remove the simple details on the kit's strut towers - add in firewall and strut toppers to kit chassis parts as these are body coloured, possible to add in once painted if preferred - brake booster and ABS pump can be added in later, with brake lines best left till last - the throttle bodies, belt and pulleys, intake manifold, twin turbos, and the charge pipe (without hose) can be added to the engine block and still be placed into the chassis with clearance - add the charge pipe hose and then the airbox when the body is in place - battery and fuse box part can be added in either before or after the body is in place - intercooler added at the same step as original kit instructions - radiator best installed when the body and engine are in place - scuttle tray needs to be cut out from kit body, new one added in once clear parts and body are assembled (best left as final assembly stage)
